- I wouldn't sell my T1 just for no reason! And the reason is here as my dream came true. Hee Wing T1 Ranger special edition is all the I wanted and we have been working on the idea for some time by now.
Let me introduce the special edition to you and show, what's inside the box.
For me this is the best Hee Wing T1 Ranger ever- ... ok, what else did you expect me to say about a plane the has been my idea for some while and came true? But let's be straight here. The design is unique compared to the previous versions and the small extra features are nice. And that's what makes is the best T1 Ranger so far:
You don't need to buy any must-have upgrades as they are already there:
- these awesome 1406 motors running smooth on 4s with the default props
- the newer 25A ESCs that also runs Bluejay smoothly
- metal gear servos that should be hard to strip
- the sexy carbon boom
- and the sexy two colored foam of course
I had to cut down the footage as I tried to tell so much about how the project came to reality and went down. But then I figured that you guys perhaps rather wanted to fly it instead of hearing me telling tales from the bench :) Hope I didn't ruin the content by extracting some main parts!
While you are watching this video I'm already busy with the next one where we will break down how to get the FC attached to it so we can have INAV or ARDUPILOT on it.

Yes, a pity that you just bought the gray one. From my experience it will endure so many flights that you certainly won’t need another one soon. Or will you? ;)

It's the DVR from the goggle with rendered OSD on top. that's how I do it. And to be honest: that's what I see, when I fly

I still have my trusty T1 . I made a plank out of one but crashed it and lost a wing lol so I still have my original T1 but I took the single boom off and made it a twin boom. I’ll have to get some videos of it soon 🎉

To be honest … the Pnp pro motors that are in this box are pretty cool on 4s and those default props. I did try a lot and finally as I got those at hands I stocked to those as the delivered what I needed: Economic flights but also power to speed around or fight strong winds. The package it by that pretty good
@JustFPV-net Thanks !. Do you know if it's OK to run 4s on the "upgraded" version..it comes with 20 amp esc 1404 3700kv motors ?
@@dallasb7117 i know that some did do that. But I don’t know how long it worked. But as they flew, it is possible. Perhaps you’ll be gentle with the throttle then. I used to fly those on 3s what turned out super efficient but not so powerful
@JustFPV-net Makes sense, I burned up an ESC and that was why I think. Happy Flying 👍
Same to you - I think there are spares in the shop so you could easily update to the newer motors and esc … maybe that’s worth a thought to get to 4s

Which 4s setup will you fly with? Not sure what I should drop in there with a Caddx Vista up front.
I’ll stick to my 4s3000 li-ion pack as the offer plenty of options. My friend drops 4s5000 in the little t1 and flies it. Heavy but good. Just those packs are stupid to build … fugly shape ;)

Because it was aligned badly… it wasn’t aligned with the upper wing edge somit would look terrible as I messed that up. I endet up doing it three times ;)
